  Great natural sanctuary where you can get close to many animals. Bird show is great. Good for kids as they don't have high fences. If you want food go to the main cafe and not the one at the entrance. Also serve punt road wines, just what you need after a day out with the kids!

  What a liked of this big park is the koala section. each koala has his own tree and i could see a koala awake walking around waiting for food. They offer a closer up encounter for extra money that allow you to see them closer but you cannot touch them. I also enjoyed seeing platypus. In the overall i expected this park to be more interesting and with more animals.

  You can touch the kangaroos which is so cool since you DO not need to buy the close-up encounters without even needing to pay more! The Harvest Cafe which is inside the Healsville Sanctuary is a bit too expensive as some foods can go up to $23. I recommend that to bring some foods, and buy some foods there. Then you will be smart.
